The Big Snow of Feb. 2003

The Metro Washington, DC area got hit with a whole bunch of snow!

Here's a few pictures of the "official" 15.7 inches we got here.

Well, We ended up with some problems...the pond!

The soil was so soaked and still lots of snow remaining

so the water rose UNDER the pond!

The only thing he could do was weigh down a deck table and hope

the fish would be ok

UPDATE Feb 23...water level decreased, we added water to pond and things "looking" OK.
